Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis


Your personal data is processed for the purpose of conducting recruitment and selection procedures for employment with the Agency or for employment mediation with prospective employers (clients). The legal bases for processing include:

Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): When you voluntarily submit an open job application via email or application forms. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): When you apply for a specific advertised job vacancy.

Legitimate Interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): For the purpose of carrying out the Agency's registered activity of employment mediation and connecting candidates with potential employers.

Compliance with a Legal Obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR): Where processing is necessary to comply with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Croatia (e.g. the Foreigners Act in the context of international recruitment).

The Agency may collect and process the following categories of candidate data:

  • Identification and contact details: Full name, personal identification number (OIB), gender, date and place of birth, telephone number, email address, and residential/temporary address.

  • Education and employment-related information: Previous employment, educational background, qualifications, résumé (CV), job application, photograph, video introduction, and professional skills.

  • Additional data for third-country nationals: Copy of a valid travel document (passport), employment contract, application for a residence and work permit, certificate of no criminal record issued by the country of origin, parents' names, and the planned residential address in the Republic of Croatia.
